Artist's Description
Painting of cactus silhouettes in the desert, as the sun sets in the far off distance. Varying tones of gold, sweep together with a bit of white to create a somewhat abstract style landscape of sky and sand. The original is 12 x 12 and painted with layers of pigments and resin on a cradled wood board, giving it a very shiny finish.
About Rachelle Stracke
Hello!! My name is Rachelle Stracke, and I am an abstract artist who creates artwork using a variety of mediums. I enjoy working with acrylic paints and mediums, alcohol ink, and resin to name a few. Additionally, I create mixed media pieces combining wax pastels, markers, and acrylic paints.
