Description

During a mid-March walk in the woods, in Wisconsin, I stumbled across this beauty. From a distance I saw a brilliant white spectacle against the dull forest floor. Was it a feather? It was hard to tell, but upon approach it was evident... a tuft of fur from a Whitetail Deer and likely a bit from its tail. I examined the fur then set it exactly back to the spot I had found it. This photo is pure in form and completely unedited....
